Using the site
Considering we're just playing around here at the moment, it's pretty bare bones stuff. That means it is what it is...don't bitch. It was created on a bored Saturday night in the chilly climbs of a Canadian winter. There will be more improvements and additions as we go along.
If there is a particular topic your searching, each engine will have it's strengths;
For example a search for 'Link Bait' might work best on the Pros engine;

While something like 'personalization' I'd search on the Engines;

Refinements

Until the day this place get's upgraded to the more full featured versions of the GCSE, be sure to know all of your advanced operators and hacks/dorks to get the most out of the system; we are search geeks ultimately, oui?
